Carol and Richard enlisted Zachary Andrew Events to help with month of wedding coordination ensuring that everything ran smoothly on their wedding day. Carol had put so much time into planning this celebration and wanted to be sure her, Richard, and their families enjoyed every single moment of the day. Needless to say, I felt an instant connection with Carol and Richard from the moment we met and truly enjoyed getting to be a part of their wedding day.
Carol and her daughter started off the morning by getting pampered at Rittenhouse 1715, a boutique Philadelphia hotel near Rittenhouse Square. Richard spent the morning at their center city condo getting ready with his family.
Carol and Richard met up for a first look opportunity in the beautiful Rittenhouse Square. Their first look helped to calm nerves and allowed this bride and groom to spend some quality time alone together before their wedding began. Carols untraditional black and white wedding dress and black fascinator were absolutely stunning and totally fit her fun personality.
The beautifully manicured garden at the National Society of Colonial Dames - Philadelphia provided a wonderful backdrop for Carol and Richards ceremony. Carol was escorted down the aisle by her brother and was met by her soon to be husband under a gorgeous floral arch designed by Petit Jardin en Ville.
After the ceremony guests were lead inside Colonial Dames for cocktail hour on the ground floor. They were greeted by additional floral displays from Petit Jardin en Ville, the fun sounds of Brazilian jazz duo, Minas, and these super cute escort cards which guests were encouraged to take home. Carol and Richards guests were then ushered to the 2nd floor of Colonial Dames for a true Philadelphia dinner, cheesesteaks from Garces Catering and a fun filled night of dancing with a DJ from No Macarena.
